Gwyl Glaniad, Tea and Landing Party
Every year, on July 28, the Gwyl Glaniad (Landing Party) takes place. The chapels become the center of the celebrations and the “Welsh tea” is widely served.
The descendants of the Welsh colonists take part in this “party for the palate”, as well as the rest of the community, who gladly adheres to this tradition.
The neighbors of the chapels form Committees to help in the tea preparation. At the same time, at the churchyards, games are organized, as well as show-jumping exhibitions and night concerts.
