Big Circuit and the Seven Lakes

Rocky viewpoints of great beauty, dense formation and forests are some of the attractiveness that populate this 248 km road. Bariloche is one of the departure points, Villa La Angostura the other.

If one leaves from Bariloche: by the route 237 go 15 km, to cross the bridge on the Limay river, that is born there, and it is also the border between the provinces of Rio Negro and Neuquén.

Arriving at Rincon Chico it begins to border the Limay river until Rincon Grande, and the Amphitheatre, a place of spectacular beauty. Accompanied almost permanently by the Limay river, route 237 crosses attractive places until arriving at the Valle Encantado (Enchanted Valley) 58 km of Bariloche, approximately.

There strange rocky figures, some of wich have received names like the Finger of God, Sentry, Express Train, etc. can be seen, etc.

A few kilometers from there is Confluencia, the place of the union of the rivers Limay and Traful, now disappeared by the formation of the new lake of the Alicura dam.

Valle Encantado (Enchanted Valley)

Before crossing the bridge it is necessary to turn left on route 65 on the South margin of the Traful river. The landscape offers initially the same rocky stranger formations of the Enchanted Valley. Cuyín Manzano only 5 km away justifies a detour of only 500 mts. towards the left to see the slopes of the river.
The colorful bridge on the Minero river is another one of the attractives in the 25 km to arrive at the lake Traful. Crossing the formidable forest the route borders the lake, in ascent until the viewpoint of traful that from about 70 mts. of height allows to totally enjoy the imposing beauty the blue one of the Traful lake.

Villa Traful offers all the possibilities for the best vacations. 35 km have been crossed and continuing appears Arrayán Port, sand beach in the western extreme of the lake; going into in a humid and dense forest. There, with the route 234, called "Of the Seven Lakes"; immediately the place Quintupuray is crossed and bordering the Correntoso lake 9 km away is Ruca Malén.

Then comes lake espejo and again the Correntoso lake, until joining with route 231 that goes towards Chile, but that in this circuit follow towards Villa the La Angostura, distant 11 km.

Circulating on route 231 comes Port Manzano this gorgeous place is a beautiful beach of the Nahuel Huapi, where the Bonito river ends.

17 km more or less to arrive at the joint with the route 237 and from there, 19 km more to return to Bariloche.
