Río Negro, like most of the provinces in Patagonia, combines sea, rivers, lakes and mountains.
The highpoints are Bariloche with Cathedral Hill, a great ski center, and Las Grutas on the coast. But Río Negro has much more to offer. The trip to the interior of an iron mine in Sierra Grande can be fascinating. Also a tour of the center of the fruit production that harvests the best apples in the world. Or a trip through the plateau south of the Negro river, with its tracks of prehistory.
Not to mention a stroll by the Valle Medio and its religious and rural tourism, and a visit to lobería of Viedma, between very many other points and cities that are developed here.
