The glacier town.
The glacier Perito Moreno, the eighth wonder of the world, is near the town of El Calafate.
This town is, in addition, access to the many ice mountains that make the Glaciers National Park, a very special site of Argentina and the world. So much so that in 1981 UNESCO declared this park a World Heritage Site.
The villa takes its name from the small shrub "calafate", typical of the south of Patagonia. According to the tradition he who eats
calafate will return for more. The reality is that he who visits El Calafate does not want to leave.
Located to 320 km from Rio Gallegos and on the South margin of Lake Argentino in the Andes, El Calafate is a colorful villa, sorrounded by peacefull vegetation.
