Icy, windy coasts rich in oil. Santa Cruz, an immense province of the Argentine south, has many corners to be discovered.
Its most famous attraction is the Glacier Perito Moreno and the eternal ice fields that surround it, considered one of the most important drinking water reserves of the world.
The pointed mount Fitz Roy also attracts hundreds of visitors and climbers. In the plateau a petrified forest and a fascinating cave with paintings (La Cueva de las Manos) some 9,000 years old give testimony of cultures from lost times.
